'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Burton Albion 1 Accrington 0

9th December 2012
15:00
Pirelli Stadium

Burton moved to within touching distance of the league two play-off places again following a home win over Accrington on Sunday.

With just minutes on the clock Billy Kee (10) broke the deadlock to give Burton the lead. The Brewers striker went close again before the break with the hosts looking the more likely to score but the visiting Stanley playing good football.

Dean Lyness has to make a couple of good saves in the second half to preserve the lead but that early goal from Kee proved enough to give Burton a 1-0 win.
