'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Richardson Takes The Positives

Leam Richardson has said he will take the positives from today's draw against Southend.

Speaking to the press the manager said that he didn't feel Southend caused us many problems during the game, but obviously with a goal like that, sometimes you just have to put your hands up and accept it's the nature of the game.

'You would rather they scored like that than through a mistake by us. But it shows how good a performance it was by us that Southend will be rubbing their hands that they got a point.'

Richardson adds that he is again proud of the players for their efforts, and he thinks if we keep performing like that, the wins will soon come.

He was also pleased to see the additions he made in January, start to settle in and perform how he knew they could.
