Lindfield Selected For Goal Of 2012

Craig Lindfield's goal against Rotherham on December 29th has been selected as our entry for the Mitre Goal of 2012 competition at the Football League Awards.

The 40th minute goal from outside the penalty box secured 53% of fans' votes, narrowly beating Peter Murphy's goal at AFC Wimbledon.

With each club submitting one goal for the competition, there will now be five of those goals shortlisted for the final competition, before attendees at the Awards vote on their winner.
