I'd Much Rather Be In Our Position

Leam Richardson has said ahead of the Bristol Rovers' game that he'd much rather be in our position than that of five other teams.

Speaking to the Official Site Leam said that Accrington had worked very hard to get to where we now are in the league, but he believes the harder work now begins because our performances have to be consistent so we don't waste our recent efforts.

'It's sometimes harer to continue to be good so we must address that and get our heads down as we have done this week. We've had a couple of meetings, rest and a good couple of sessions geared towards Bristol Rovers, because it will be tough, but we'll look to bring back a positive result.'

Richardson says we definitely go there full of confidence following our recent performances and we are a team that has momentum and form, and we have to focus on continuing to pick up points if we can quite get the win.
