Nicky Hunt Returns

James Beattie has completed the first signing of his managerial career by capturing Nicky Hunt on a free transfer.

The former Rotherham player turned out for Accrington 11 times last season during a loan spell and has now signed for us on a free transfer after being released.

He joins the club having signed a two year contract and the 29 year old told the Official Site.

'I thoroughly enjoyed my time here last season and staying up was a massive achievement for the club considering the position we were in in January. This was always a club I was thinking about coming back to whether Leam was the manager or James got the job. I'm thoroughly looking forward to the season ahead.'
