Beattie Wants Players To Relish Opportunity

Beattie Wants Players To Relish Opportunity

James Beattie has called on the players to really relish the visit of Everton, give their all and enjoy it.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, our new gaffer said.

'There's a lot of buzz around the club and around the town and I think the Everton fans and the club are looking forward to coming. It's a special occasion with it being the 125th Anniversary of the first Football League game and it's going to be an amazing night.'

For Beattie it will be a special night as well as he manages the lads on home soil for the first time, and he thinks the pitch is perfect for a good game of football that will entertain the fans.
