'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Two Depart Stanley

One player leaves permanently, one leaves for a bit of work experience.

Goalkeeper Ben Wilson has had his contract terminated by mutual consent today.

The 21 year old joined us on a short term contract last August and made his debut in the one nil defeat to Crewe Alexandra in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The former Sunderland player will now join up with a new club with a view to a deal in January.

Youth Team player Joe Clarke has also gone to Formby for a bit of work experience.

The 17 year old has gone to the Northwest Counties First Division side for some proper football to help him in his development, and everybody at the club has wished the second year scholar well for his time away from us.
