Aldred & Murphy To Leave?

Aldred & Murphy To Leave?

Sky Sports are reporting that a number of other clubs are interested in both Tom Aldred and Peter Murphy.

Starting with our ever present 23 year old Aldred, Sky suggest that given the season he had under manager James Beattie, he has now attracted plenty of attention from clubs in League 1 and also a few Championship level sides, and they are apparently keen to take him.

Bournemouth and MK Dons are mentioned as being two heavily interested at this stage.

As for Murphy, they are reporting that he has now turned down the offer of a new contract that Accrington gave him, and it looks likely the 24 year old will leave the club as a free agent this summer.

Having played 47 times this season, he scored nine goals and Sky say that several sides are interested in him and namecheck MK Dons again, Oldham, Preston, Sheffield United and Tranmere Rovers.
