Murphy Moves To Wycombe

24 year old midfielder Peter Murphy has today departed Accrington Stanley and signed a two year deal at Adams Park with Wycombe Wanderers.

The player was out of contract this summer at the club, and despite their being a contract on the table, he has chosen to move on to pastures new.

Having come through our youth set up, Murphy went on to make over 150 appearances for us, scoring 18 times, with nine of those goals coming last season.

Whilst predominantly a midfielder, he was very versatile and in his years with us he has played in every outfield position at some stage.

He moves on with the best wishes of everybody at the club, who thank him for all his efforts in his time with us.
