Dunbavin Leaves By Mutual Consent

Goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin has now left Accrington Stanley after he and the club came to an agreement to end the remainder of his contract with us by mutual consent.

The 34 year old stopper joined us back in 2006 and has gone on to make 167 starts for the club across all competitions with a further two appearances from the bench.

Last season he spent the second half of the campaign out on loan with Chesterfield with former management duo Paul Cook and Leam Richardson.

He leaves the club with everybody's best wishes given his service to us over the last eight years.
