Cambridge return for Carden

ACCRINGTON STANLEY midfielder Paul Carden has today returned to Blue Square Premier outfit Cambridge United on loan until the end of the season.

Cardem, 28, had gone on an initial one month loan to the Abbey Stadium, but was recalled by Stanley boss John Coleman towards the end of his spell.

But after completing the signings of Billy Dennehy from Sunderland, Andy Todd from Rotherham and with the signature of Ian Craney said to be on the way, Carden was allowed to leave on loan for a second time.
