Pub Guide For Visiting Fans

After recieving a number of messages from away fans asking about pubs in Accrington, I have compiled a pub Guide for visiters.

The three friendliest pubs for visiting fans

The Crown

The Crown is situated on Whalley Road and is a minutes walk away for Livingston Road (which you walk down to get to the Fraser Eagle Stadium). The Crown is a Accrington Stanley pub, but away fans are welcome aslong as they are up for a bit of friendly banter.

The Greyhorse

The Greyhorse is five minutes walk up Whalley Road (towards town centre) from Livingston Road. The Greyhorse is a pub which is jammed full of Stanley fans but again away fans and their banter is welcome.

Whitakers arms

But for those of you who don't want all the hype and noise leading up to the game, the best choice for you is the Whitakers Arms. Whitakers Arms is about 10 minutes drive away from Livingston Road and serves resteraunt quality food from 12pm onwards. Whitakers Arms is on Burnley Road accross from Accrington Cemetory.
