'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Manager's thoughts

Stanley manager Paul Cook said that he was pleased with the performance if not the result of Tuesday's encounter with Oxford United.'We had some outstanding players out there'said the Reds boss,'our forwards were a threat all night, and to have striker Craig Lindfield filling in at right back to shore up the defence speaks volumes for our spirit and commitment'.He also praised the crowd for their non stop backing, saying how much they helped the team last night.Cook also singled out Jamie Devitt's performance where he had an effort cleared off the line, stating that 'Devitt's work rate was second to none'.
